My work is all about simplicity, the use of my materials and the
process of creating and understanding life through my art.
Drawing as my medium gives me the ability to be immediate and basic.
I try to find structure and space through volume, and I look to see the
underlying form. Most important is that at the end I want to be able
to know where I started.
Animals are a subject that allow me to explore relationships based on
body language rather than verbal communication, as exemplified
by pack and group behavior. I am inspired by their honesty and
character.
